Description:
A tag made of brown paper with a red fabric tie through it. Tag is printed with "J.A.O. ALLAN, F.R.I.B.A, 25 UNION TERRACE, ABERDEEN" and also written on it is “Robert Gordon’s Technical College, working plans of School of Engineering and Navigation Dated Dec. 1915. 7 Sheets". Very similar to ABDRG2010.8 (another tag from JAO Allan). Work mentioned in the tag is dated 1915, though it is not known when the tag itself was created. It is likely to be from this time judging from the condition of it and the fact it is stamped with JAO Allan, F.R.B.A. 25 UNION TERRACE, thus making it an original tag from the architect firm, as opposed to one used in a previous cataloguing system at RGU.
