Description:

Bowl with sponged floral decoration. Produced at Highland Stoneware, Scotland.

During Tricia Thom's studies at Gray's she pioneered a number of highly innovative processes and went on to win European acclaim winning the Ceramics prize at the Jugend Gestalt in Germany as well as receiving a major SED travelling scholarship.

In her short time at Highland Stoneware she has introduced many inspired pattern designs, which, as part of the range, are now sold worldwide. Often her more prestigious pieces are also signed. The freshness of her ideas has encouraged others to be more experimental in their approach.
