Description:

This project attempts to house a portion of the brief, primarily a school and a
public space on one site while suggesting the remaining program be scattered
through the existing buildings. As the people in the village assume many
roles within the community the spaces in this building will need to adapt to
many functions to make it viable. The building will provide space for a small
school and community functions; it has the ability to accommodate three
hundred people, the population of the greater area, in a single space be it for
a school play, ceilidhs, meetings or exhibitions. This multipurpose hall will
be a celebration of place, truly a view with a room; it overlooks a breathtaking
panorama out over the village onto the sound of Mull and on to Mull itself.

6 presentation board files and a video commentary.
