Artist's statement:
"In 2011 I explored professional techniques used in the motion graphics industry, partly inspired by my experience while on placement with Pixomondo, a visual effects and motion graphics studio for the film and advertising industries.
The project consists of three parts: Understanding, Applying and Teaching. During the understanding phase, I identified relevant techniques and researched a selection of these in detail. In the Applying phase, I applied these techniques, producing animated sequences utilizing at least two of the identified techniques. In the final phase of the project, I investigated teaching methods as well as existing educational material on Motion Graphics and created an integrated teaching resource in the form of a website with video lectures."
