Kinga Elliott is predominantly an oil painter; however she has lately been seduced by the rich Prussian blue of cyanotype and has started to make large scale cyanotypes using industrial sized UV light bed.

She creates her own semi-transparent paper designs that serve as negatives for the cyanotype process. The resulting cyanotypes then become starting points for further painterly developments. She uses oil and acrylic paint, ink and resin in her creative process.

Her inspirations stem from natural forms and organic patterns. She has a background in mathematics and physics and she sometimes uses forms adapted from science as a starting point for her themes. Her works are abstract, focusing on manifestations of light, colour, dynamism, balance and interconnectedness.
