Description:

A publication containing a list of contemporary artists and black and white photographic reproductions. 40 pages. Published by John Tiranti 1944. This copy belonged to Richard Ross Robertson and it contains work by T.B. Huxley-Jones and his wife Gwynneth Holt. One of Huxley-Jones's commissions was the Fountain of Joy, to be seen near Speakers' Corner in Hyde Park. Shortly after his death in 1968, the large figure of the west wind was stolen from the fountain. Gwynneth Holt created and replaced the missing figure to her husband's original design and the fountain is complete again.

This publication was a personal possession of Richard Ross Robertson.
