Description:

Figurative composition featuring a military tank and machine like elements. Use of papier colle amongst the painted structures in the top left and on the right hand side. Amongst the architectural imagery is a magazine image of the caryatids of the Erechtheion.

Artist's statement:-

At the time I produced a series of works based on old engines and machinery because there was a lot of such
debris in my dads garden! The tank was based on the carbs of a Morris Minor,the tracks on old war photos of
bombed out cities with tramlines! The collage was experimental.
