Figurative composition featuring split scenes with an image of trees by a river and another of a rippling pool of water.

Artist's statement:
I aim to capture the environment in a particular geographical location at a variety of times or seasons of the year. Our pace of life means we fail to pause and enjoy the colour of our experiences. My paintings record each location as honestly as possible, responding intuitively to what I see and feel.
