Description:

Artist's statement:
"My research explores the subject of memory and family relationships. Our families are the people that hold us together, get us through the difficult periods in our lives and help us create the happy memories that we have stored within our minds.
We rely on our family members as much as we would rely on the functionality of a bottle. It is through these figurative objects that I explore the characteristics of my family, the people of most importance to me whilst also addressing the subject of absence and presence in my own life."
