Artist's statement:
"The decay of the living, the creation of life - I often considered a land where the matured and instinctive fabrication of humankind had experienced grievous conditions of forced neglect. The world was fractioned, a place where even death was forbidden. We then suffered within an inhabitable age where restoring health was vital for impending generations of survival. The decay of the living became the fundamental host to produce a new breed of life. Prosthetic limbs had been fashioned from the skin and bone of the deceased, detached flesh had been pinned and stitched down with strands of oily hair. Handcrafted breathing apparatus - forced into the mouths, chests and throats of the weak in hope to sustain mankind's very existence."
