1/4 of a series of close up photographs of traditional Fairisle pattern jumpers from the Scottish Knitwear Series. Text reads:
Man’s sweater, hand knitted in Levenwick, Shetland.
Traditional fairisle banding of 9 and 11 row main patterns interspersed with 5 row borders. Natural colours including moorit (mid-brown) and Shetland black (dark brown). As in all true fairisles, the sweater is hand knitted in the round and has now side seams.
