Description:

A blown up image of a scaled sketch of 'Torry Point Battery' an area on the south bank of the River Dee, and to the east of the city of Aberdeen. Scaled 10 foot to 1 inch. Sketch is in pencil with areas highlighted in yellow. The piece is mainly a sketch showing proposed accommodation of ammunition in recess on gun floor. Torry Point Battery was built between 1859 and 1861, and was later used in the world wars. This piece is dated 1910, which is the date of the original and not this reproduction.
