Description:

This is the front cover to a set of work entitled 'A Cultural Centre at Elgin' It is an Architectural Design Thesis from June 1959, from Stanley Anderson Mitchell's 6th year, final part two.
It is made of paint/print onto grey/stone coloured board. There is stencilled letterng and a motif that consists of a white outline of a priest (Bishop?) in a circle.
On the front underneath the clergy man appears the words SIC ITUR AD ASTRA ....meaning 'such is the way to the stars'
