First year work of James Paul. One of 17 pages of sketches. Pencil on paper, 13 architectural sketches with notes alongside them, as well as rough outline of the geographic area of Italy. Details of the work include the the Pisa Cathedral: longitudinal section, bird's eye view and plan, the S. Michele Pavia: exterior from west, cloister and transverse section as well as the interior of St Ambrogio, Milan and the interior of the S. Manato al Monte, Florence. Item has 2 holes punched along the left hand side. It seems as if the student's work has been annotated by the teacher. This degree of correction is in red pencil to the right of the piece.
