Description:

Cambridge 'Flik' Galvanometer.
A galvanometer is a meter to read very small amounts of amps and measures as micro amps.

Black cylinder covering the instrument on a raised circular base. A round small glass window is located at the front. 3 knobs sit raised from the base with 2 to the front and 1 to the left side. There is a small raised circular cap on top of the cylinder. The base sits on 3 adjustable feet. The company was formed in 1881 as Cambridge Scientific Instruments Co by Horace Darwin and Albert George Dew-Smith. In 1895 it became a public company.
