Description:

Exhibition panel no. 8 features a black tea cosy designed by Lana McKinnon and embroidered by Miss E Wray. It was produced by W M Briggs and Co. Ltd. Product samples are displayed and were produced as part of the Penelope range of needlework embroidery kits which could be purchased. Includes a pack of coloured thread.

The design for the tea cosy features a bird with a pink flowes and leaf patterns on one side embroidered with coloured threads on a black background. The rear design features a gold coloured flower pot and flower motifs. Tulip motif is present on both sides.
