Sculpture acknowledging donors to the RGU Sports Centre, with donors names fragmented across stainless steel sections.

Artist's statement :-

I aim to create a piece which is based on motion. The design has several layers of metal sheets that have sections cut out them. As the user moves around the piece the cut out sections reveal the letters of the sponsors. I wanted to create a design that takes notion of sport and movement/energy and turn that into a piece that invites the individual to move around the space and explore the structure. This I feel reflects well with the sports centre allowing people to try new things and to become more physical in their everday lives.
