Artist's statement
"There are a number of values that can be placed or given to an object: monetary, sentimental etc… but what value has a camera that’s been used so much that it no longer operates properly, or an earring that has been lost on a night out? The things I find interesting and use in my work have lost their primary function, but these objects that would normally be disregarded have become the bases of my work. I am reusing lost, old and broken materials giving these things a new function and reacting to this high tech, fast paced, disposable world we live in."
