Description:

Exhibition panel no. 21 features a design by Margaret Bremner. The embroidery was created by Miss W Douglass. The embroidery design features a bird motif with chickens on a merry go round.
The panel features an embroidery with coloured thread and a further matching motif created with white thread and an ochre cloth background. Two further framed objects are of a single motif of a chicken. One is black on ochre and the other is coloured thread on white cloth. The panel also includes the Council of Industrial Design motif and a framed Scottish Women's Rural Institute handicraft publication. The contents of the publication includes a hot design transfer. The pack includes text stating that it is workd in Clark's Anchor stranded cotton.
