Description:

The Eye Of Memories
“Through the lens of Eastern and Western philosophies, my practice looks at the individual as a container of being.
I am fascinated by the inner world humans possess and the way we carry it within us at all times. However, often our inner selves can become places of solitude and isolation.
I believe that through nature and its elements such as rocks and caves, fires and seawater, the soil and the stars, we can find a primal language which can allow us to reconnect with the world.
When we learn to see this poetry in the fleeting moments of life, we can transform life into art and ourselves into expressions of the world.
Through my sculptures, my aim is to make my own interiority and poetry visible and almost accessible.
The resemblance to natural forms enhances the possibility each one of us has to escape our inner solitude by reconnecting with the natural world in a spiritual way.”
