Description:

An acknowledgement sent to James Galletly, an ex-member of Scott Sutherland School of Architecture staff who took part in the World Jamboree of 1929. The acknowledgement shows an illustration featuring a cub scout behind the set on a stage. Baden Powell's signature appears on the card but this may be an ink stamp signature. (envelope included). The 3rd World Jamboree was held at Arrowe Park, Birkenhead, England in 1929. It was known as the "Coming of Age" Jamboree as it celebrated 21 years since the foundation of the Scouting Movement.
