Description:

This photographic image is part of a series of photographs based on the sometimes fragile co-existence between nature and mankind. The series expresses an awareness of our natural curiousity and insecurity, inspired by our persistent pursuit for enlightenment and self-preservation. This image conveys the complex relationship that contemporary western society has adopted towards nature. The frame of the photograph is constructed from a recycled wooden washing line pole, adding a further integrity to the theme of the work.
