Artist's Statement

The project is envisaged as an alternative project to Aberdeen's Union Terrace gardens development. It instead is located North in the Seaton and the Old Town area. It consists of a linear park made up of an existing pocket of nature. These are linked together by a boardwalk and punctuated by a series of built works. The principal piece of these works is a new university gallery and archive. This building is intended to open up the university and its collections to the public.
