Action Sports in the North-East

My work is predominantly focused in the area of action sports. Utilising a blend of photography and videography I aim to inspire others to find the same joy and fulfilment that I have through my involvement in these sports and their related communities.
I often try to shift focus away from the standard, high-energy action shots which have become synonymous with this industry and focus more on what lies beneath. I want to highlight that the action sports community can offer so much more than simply its aesthetic value.
During my honours year, I have largely focused on raising the profile of the North East’s action sports community through collaboration with local companies and charities to promote these sports in a more active and engaging way. Through the creation of impactful promotional material, I hope to highlight the excellent sporting opportunities that Aberdeenshire has to offer as well as inspire the local community to get involved.
