Description:

Artist's statement:
"My practice revolves around the relationship between humans and nature, through the process of making compositions with honeybee and butterfly wings, objects that embody freedom, delicacy, pollination and biodiversity. My aim is to make work that highlights the reliance we have on the natural world and to emphasise the control and dominion humans enforce over other species. In looking into the morality of the objects artists use in their work, I have aimed to be as ethical as possible when sourcing my materials. It is important to remember that we are connected to all other life forms on the planet, no matter how small, because without them, we are nothing."
