Description:

Poster detailing the 1996 NASA Shuttle "STS-77 Endeavour" launch, featuring images of mission patches from previous NASA missions. A text added on top reads:

"In May 1996, the NASA Shuttle "STS-77 Endeavour" lifted off from Cape Kennedy in Florida, carrying instrumentation designed and built by a team of Engineering staff and students, led by Professor Norman Deans.

The 5ft3 housing contained an instrumentation package to measure changes in (low level) gravitational fields, and an experiment developed by Elrick Primary School pupils to study the effects of space travel on the germination of seeds.

The flight lasted 10 days. Both experiments were successful."
