Portrait of Jacob Bell. Plaque reads, 'Portrait of Jacob Bell, (replica by another artist of original, which is by Sir Edwin Landseer), Founder of the Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain and president from 1856-1860, Presented by Walter Hills Esqre, President of the Society from 1896-1899 to the governors of Robert Gordon's Colleges Aberdeen 1st July 1927.' Original and one other copy in possession of the Pharmaceutical Society as of 2004. This version probably not by Landseer himself. An account of the gift appeared in the Aberdeen Press and Journal, 2nd July 1927.
